Vintage Fire Fighting Practical Guide For Firemen Book John McCarthy 1942 The Femack Company
This rare vintage firefighting manual from 1942 is in good condition for it's age. The pages have darkened with age.   I don't see any tears or markings. I have talked to a few long retired Firefighters and they said this was the "go to" book back in the day. The author of this book, John J McCarthy, was Assistant Chief of Department, In Command of New York Fire Department.
This book would make a great gift for a current or retired Firefighter.
Photos show book condition. The book is approximately 5" x 7 1/2", and a bit over 1/2' thick. It weighs 8.5 ounces without packaging. I pay part of the shipping via USPS Priority mail and I will  make sure there is adequate shipping insurance to cover the item value.
