Description:
Presented for your consideration is this neat antique saddle blanket. The Navajo woven blanket features a tribal inspired, hourglass design in red, brown and light brown. The pattern sits against a light tan colored background with grey-brown stripes near the top and bottom. Nice craftsmanship is displayed throughout. Please refer to the photos for better details on the pattern work. Would look great displayed with any Native American collection! Could also be used as a throw rug!
A repair was made at one time in one corner and in the center of the blanket. There are small holes throughout the middle, mainly around the red hourglass shapes. Some light fraying is along the edges from age. Overall in GOOD condition. Sold AS FOUND. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Measures 36 1/2" long and 19 1/2" wide.
