#21-032, 1870’s Silk Skirt Panel - Burgundy Velvet and Pearl on Ivory:
This skirt panel was created in the 1870’s or 1880’s. It is the front of a bustle gown.  It was not unusual for a bride to change the appearance of the wedding gown so that she could wear it as a ball gown or reception dress.  I have had two wedding gowns in the 35 years I have collected that were trimmed in burgundy velvet after the wedding.  I have seen three others in other collections that were trimmed in burgundy as well.  This panel is 30” b 25”.  It has wear to the ivory silk with missing pearls and some loose thread.  The entire hem is frayed. This could be re-purposed for many different things.
I have washed my hands thoroughly before packing this dress and wiped down the box with disinfectant.

- Payment through Pay Pal is preferred but will make other arrangements if necessary. We request that as soon as auction is over, and you have received your invoice please pay for items won within three days of Auction end. Merchandise will be shipped within 48 hours as soon as payment is received.

For Domestic shipping, if an item is over 0, Signature Confirmation is added.  We will send won items up to 13 ounces - First Class. If 14 ounces or more it will be sent Priority mail or Parcel Select.  In most cases Priority mail up to 0, insurance is free, and shipping is actually less than Parcel Select.
For International Shipping
